Week of Europe , 9 - 17 December 2008
During the Week of Europe the programme Dare2Connect, in cooperation with several partners, will shine a light on the cultural Europe of today.
On 9 December we will start with Café Europe "Pays-Bas: douze points!", a debate about the introduction of the Euro and the consequences of the financial crisis on the pension funds. On 13 December young Europeans will create fresh new ideas for Europe in the programme Utopia: European Vistas. During Forum Amsterdam: The secret of... (14 December) enterprising personalities from business and culture and representatives of leading organisations who are actively involved with the society of Amsterdam will share their secret. On 16 December international cooperation in Europe will be discussed during the meeting Cultural collaboration in Europe. The week will conclude with Versus: Geert Mak & Bernhard Schlink on 17 December.
