Night of Europe
9 May is Europe Day. We celebrate this with the second edition of the Night of Europe - a big festival for young people with Europe as radiant centre. The Night of Europe has a varied programme with cutting-edge debates and plenty of music, film and cabaret. Leading politicians, controversial opinion leaders and the best bands from the Netherlands and abroad have been invited.
The programme will include Frans Timmermans (Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs), Frits Bolkestein (Former European Commissioner for the internal market, taxation and the customs union), The Big Europe Show of Levi & Sadeghi (programme makers for Dutch television), music from Balkan Beatz, Fixkes and The Nits, Europe Guests with Leon Verdonschot (Dutch journalist, writer and radio host) as well as OTPOR from Serbia, singer-songwriter JW Roy and Ben Woldring (Dutch internet entrepreneur).
