Felix & Sofie: I quit!
Monday 30 June is the last day that Dutch smokers can smoke a cigarette in the café. This is for Felix & Sofie a good reason to discuss the meaning of the cigarette. Many philosophers are addicted to smoking. Why do philosophers smoke? What is the relation between the desire for wisdom and the desire for nicotine? And what will happen to the last smokers?
These and other questions will be discussed during this last philosophical café of the season. Not only will we exchange thoughts with addiction experts, but we will also talk straightforwardly with the heavily addicted about their love-hate relation with the cigarette.
