Felix & Sofie: Badiou stands up for Philosophy
The French philosopher Alain Badiou calls for the return of Truth in Philosophy. In his recent book Second Manifesto for Philosophy he analyses the role of opinions and relativism. Badiou claims that philosophy should dedicate itself to reinventing and formulating "eternal truth".
Several guests will introduce the work of Badiou and discuss the question of whether philosophy should dedicate itself to "eternal truths". Doesn't truth change with every new day? With Marc de Kesel, Ernst van den Hemel, Richard den Brabander, Philip Westbroek and others.
