3rd Burgerhart Lecture: The Enlightenment and modern thinking on cultural (in)equality
In the series Burgerhart Lectures this edition will deal in depth with the actual state of the Enlightenment and its reflections on cultural equality. How did people reflect during the Enlightenment on differences and similarities between people and their cultures? Siep Stuurman (Professor Erasmus University Rotterdam) will speak about the history of these developments down to the present.
